Sound;waves

For this installation, I collaborated with oceanic engineer Dr.Paula Garcia Rosa whose work is specifically focused on wave energy conversion. It was my task to supply a suitable sonic analogy to describe my collaborator’s work that would not only exist as a musical piece in its own right, but also demonstrated in a transparent manner, the principles behind the wave energy conversion.

This installation was part of a larger project called Metamorphosis, which encouraged collaboration between researchers and artists in an attempt to communicate text based and experimental research through art. To find out more about Metamorphosis, click on the butterfly below.
