kinesia: The Third Law

In this piece the sonic events are created and manipulated in real-time by through the movements and gestures of the dancer. This is facilitated through the use of the Xbox Kinect, Processing and Csound. This piece  follows a loosely determined path but also allows for improvisation and play within the performance. The majority of sounds in this piece are physical models of tibetan singing bowls of various sizes synthesised within Csound.
